The leadership of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance and the leadership of the governorate councils affirmed the popular resistance’s adherence to national constants in light of the continuing coup and the militia’s behavior, which represents an existential threat to the state and the Yemeni identity.
During the meeting, which was organized on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha and was attended by field leaders, figures, and social notables, the attendees congratulated the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance, Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, and the leadership of the Supreme Council on this great occasion, praying to God to bring it back to them and to Yemen with security, peace, progress, and victory.
Vice President of the Council's Political Body, Sheikh Abdul Wahed Al-Qibli Nimran, stressed the necessity of confronting the extremist ideology of the Houthi militia by all means in order to preserve the gains of the Yemeni revolutions and the principles and values of the Republic of Yemen.
Nimran pointed out that the resistance was and still is “the nation’s compass,” always pointing toward the interests of the single, sovereign and independent Republic of Yemen.
The attendees praised the steadfastness and heroism of the Almoravids of the Popular Resistance and the National Army on the fronts of honor and pride and their bravery in confronting the Houthi coup militia and its destructive plans.
The participants called on the legitimate authority to strengthen the presence of the legitimate state institutions, impose their prestige, develop their performance, and enable them to perform their duties on every inch of Yemeni territory.
While the attendees saluted the heroes of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, who remained steadfast in the face of the brutal Israeli aggression and its war machines, which are committing the most horrific genocide in history without international or humanitarian deterrence.
The meeting was attended by the leadership of the various bodies and departments of the Council, a number of heads and members of resistance councils in the governorates, and a number of experts, social figures, and interested parties.
