Political Council of the Supreme Resistance Reviews Results of Saudi Visit; Council Chairman Commends Fruitful Outcomes

The political council of the Supreme Resistance Council held a meeting chaired by the council's chairman, Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mokhlafi. The meeting reviewed the results of the recent visit of the political council delegation, led by council chairman and House of Representatives member Abdul Karim Al-Aslami, and a number of council members to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The council chairman commended the excellent results of the meetings held by the political council delegation with Saudi officials and a number of heads of diplomatic missions of permanent members of the Security Council, European countries, and Red Sea littoral states.
The meeting expressed the political council's and its supreme leadership's keen interest in the interaction shown by Saudi officials with the council's political delegation, which reflected mutual appreciation for the roles, including the role played by the popular resistance within the national spectrum, and within the framework of the agreed-upon Yemeni commitments, foremost among which is the commitment to achieving peace based on ending the causes of war and preserving the unity of the Yemeni state, its political system, and the references of the peaceful solution.
Meanwhile, the meeting affirmed its appreciation for the pivotal and comprehensive role played by the Kingdom in the Yemeni arena, and for the Kingdom's remarkable developmental and humanitarian contributions during this exceptional period in Yemen's history.
The chairman of the political council, Abdul Karim Al-Aslami, had briefly reviewed the most important meetings held by the delegation at the level of the political leadership of the legitimate authority, with Saudi officials, and heads and members of diplomatic missions. While the head of foreign relations in the political council, Dr. Ali Al-Dhahab, provided a briefing on the contents of the comprehensive report of the visit, and the most important positions that attracted the attention of the delegation in the theses of diplomats and officials regarding the popular resistance and its political vision to end the war.
