The resistance leadership congratulates the Yemeni people on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha

 On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, I extend, on my own behalf and on behalf of my brothers in the Supreme Command of the Popular Resistance, my sincere congratulations and blessings to the dear Yemeni people, asking God Almighty to return this occasion to our people and our nation with goodness, victory and prosperity.

 With this opportunity, we reaffirm the necessity of full respect for the will of the Yemeni people, who are struggling to restore their state, their republic, and their free will. This will not be achieved without ending the coup against legitimacy and the resulting tearing apart of the political and geographical unity of the homeland, by the groups that were imposed on our country and our people by force of arms in order to occupy...  Yemen is plagued by conflicts and crises, keeping it a geography open to external influence and its miscalculations.

 We have followed with interest the developments related to the opening of some of the main roads that were closed by the coup plotters for more than ten years in order to impose their project through war, siege, and breaking their wills. Regardless of the motives that finally led them to implement it, we stress in this context the need for opening the roads to be part of a comprehensive commitment.  Towards a solution to the Yemeni problem, which is to end the coup and the events resulting from it, which have established policies of tearing apart the national fabric politically, economically and socially in a way that the people’s energies cannot bear after lean years of war, blood, loss, displacement and pain.

 We repeat our congratulations on the Blessed Eid, and we especially mention our heroes stationed among the men of the Popular Resistance and the glorious National Army, and we do not forget their immortal sacrifices and those who preserved the liberated areas’ freedom and dignity and gave them steadfastness in the face of siege, sniping and mines.

 Greetings, respect and appreciation to the heroes of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip.  Those who stand tall and proud in the face of the most powerful military machine supported by uninterrupted political and military supplies from the superpower, as the most heinous crime of genocide is being carried out in front of the eyes of the world, and against the decisions of the International Court of Justice.

 I ask God Almighty to make this Eid a good beginning for the Yemeni people and to fulfill all our aspirations for a free, generous, dear and stable homeland.
