The Supreme Command held a meeting headed by the Chairman of the Supreme Council, Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi
With the participation of members of the senior leadership:
Sheikh Mohammed Waraq, Vice President for Humanitarian Affairs and Rights
Sheikh Shawqi Al-Sanhani, Vice President for Political Affairs and Relations
Dr. Abdel Hamid Amer, Vice President for Resistance Affairs
Sheikh Abdul Raqeeb Al-Subaihi, Vice President for Media and Mobilization Affairs
Mr. Ramzi Mahrous, Vice President for Resources and Services via Visual Communication
The senior leadership meeting, through several sessions, focused on two main axes:
The first axis: The issues, political and field developments, regional and international movements related to the course of war and peace in Yemen, and the dangerous indicators they bear on the fate of Yemen, its state, its unity and its republican system were examined.
The second axis: In which the final lists of leaders and members of bodies affiliated with the Supreme Council were approved, basing the decisions it took on standards of field, professional and national competence, and identification with the spirit of sacrifice required by joining the ranks of the popular resistance and supporting its struggle for the greater goals of Yemen
Regarding the first axis:
The senior leadership emphasized the political and national contents contained in the announcement statement, and approved the determinants and paths for dealing with all of these challenges, based on undoubted confidence in the will and vigilance of the Yemeni people, and on the belief that popular resistance is the hope of this people in protecting their choices and their state and preserving their future.
It also emphasized the resistance's priorities in waging a decisive confrontation with the coup group, mobilizing comprehensive capabilities to restore the state with the force of popular momentum, national support for the living Yemeni political forces, and international consensus on respecting the constants of the Yemeni state
It reiterated the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance’s keenness to maintain good relations with the Arab coalition countries, in particular the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the brotherly and friendly countries that support the right of the Yemeni people to restore their state, preserve their unity and national sovereignty, and establish relations based on common interests and mutual respect
While the Supreme Leadership stresses the Council’s adherence to the option of resistance, in light of the continuation of current threats and the encroachment of the rebel forces and their increasing destructive impact on the existence of the state and the fate of the people, undermining their capabilities, and continuing with the military and security targeting of the Yemeni people, their army, and their resistance, and depriving them of their natural rights, it sees in the gift of the Yemeni people On the eve of the sixty-first anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution, the best evidence of this people’s faith in the resistance, and their adherence through this gift to the revolution and the republic, which constitute a dividing line between truth and falsehood and between the dark, backward, priestly Imami rule and the rule of the people under the umbrella of an enlightened republican system
There is no doubt that the state of tension that the Yemeni people are experiencing reflects deep concern for the fate of Yemen and the supreme gains of the people, foremost of which are the republican system, unity, freedom and dignity. It expresses an unwavering belief in these values and a willingness to defend them and thwart the great multilateral conspiracy that seeks to undermine the people’s gains. Yemen, passing the priestly sectarian project and replacing its political and military gains, which represented the harvest of a decade of conspiracy against Yemen and its state, with the gains of the immortal Yemeni revolution and its republican system that does not accept a return to the eras of backwardness and imamate, the negligence of those whom the people entrusted with their state and its destiny, and the disastrous involvement of the political components, personalities and leaders in Futile polarizations have opened a huge gap in the wall of the homeland, through which projects of demolition and sabotage linked to the agendas of regional, sectarian and political hegemony, and the blatant ambitions for Yemen’s geopolitical advantages on the international map can be carried out
-The battle for victory for the flag and the slogan - as a symbol of the Republic of Yemen raged on the night of September 26, in a creative embodiment of the true meaning of popular resistance, its breadth and multiplicity of options. Despite the clear imbalance in capabilities, here are the Yemenis proving, with their blessed gift, that they are stronger than the militia’s weapons and more enlightened than its unrestrained violence. Most important of all, they dropped the militia’s claims about adhering to the principles of the republican system, or that it defends Yemen, and it was confirmed to all Yemenis that the Houthi group is the enemy that is destroying Yemen from within and making deals to dismantle and weaken it
Since the first day of the ill-fated fall of Sanaa, the Houthi militia has announced its plans for the sectarian demolition of the republican national structure, through military targeting, ideological mobilization, and blatant change in educational curricula. It has become clear that the confidence-building steps that are taking place under regional and international pressure only lead to the empowerment of the coup militia. Its temptation to build a de facto authority no longer accommodates even those who paved the way for it to reach Sana’a and harnessed the state’s political, financial, military and security capabilities to serve its project, so that its political partners face existential targeting from the coup’s partner, putting Sana’a once again in the face of cycles of fighting and liquidations
Here reality confirms once again that the Yemeni people are still paying the heavy price for the intended cover-up of the militia’s crimes and the continuation of its armed assaults and attacks on cities, neighborhoods and civilians, and on various sites of the National Army and the Popular Resistance, under the pretext of allegedly maintaining the ceasefire, which confirms the necessity of keeping the hand on the trigger. The inevitability of confrontation with the coup militia in order to restore the state and end the coup and the chaos that resulted from it, which is the role assigned to the national army and the valiant popular resistance
The Supreme Council of Popular Resistance, as it is betting on the strength and resilience of the Yemeni people in embracing the resistance and supporting it in all possible ways, appreciates the cohesion that the resistance and the National Army have embodied during the past years, and their continued keenness to fight the battle to restore the state without relentlessness, fatigue, or boredom, despite the great sacrifices. And the continuation of difficulties and disappointment, it stresses the importance of invoking the constitutional, national, and moral responsibility of the legitimate authority with all its institutions and bodies, foremost of which is the Presidential Command Council, the House of Representatives, the Shura Council, and the government, as this authority must unite with the National Army and the popular resistance, a cohesion befitting the greatness of the battle and the entitlements of the stage. Critical historical
It also stresses at the same time the need to employ the state’s legal position, not to make concessions, but rather to fortify the constitutional sovereign decision, and to employ it in preserving the constants of the Republic of Yemen and protecting it from threats, and to give more reassurances to the Yemeni people regarding the commitment of the Presidential Leadership Council to its responsibilities on the basis of respect for the Yemeni state and its principles and readiness. To defend and represent it in accordance with the principles of the Constitution
Regarding the second axis
Out of the concern of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance and its senior leadership, the most important part of the leadership meeting focused on the issue of completing the Council’s bodies, in accordance with the nature of the upcoming tasks at the field and political levels and the optimal use of Yemeni capabilities at home and abroad in supporting the battle to restore the state:
Based on the statute of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance, the recommendations of the Consultative Conference and the announcement statement regarding the formation of a political body, and in view of the importance of the political role assigned to the Supreme Council of Resistance, it was decided the following
First: A political body for the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance will be formed and it will have representation at the level of each of the popular resistance councils in the governorates, and it will also include a team of experts in various fields
Second: The presidency of the political body consists of the following brothers
1-Ali Ahmed Al-Omrani: Chairman
2-Yahya Muhammad Manser: Vice President
3-Abdul Karim Muhammad Al-Aslami: Vice President
4-Yassin Ahmed Al-Tamimi: official spokesman
5-Ali Muhammad Al-Dhahab: Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee
6-Abdul Wahed Ali Al-Qibli Nimran: Chairman of the Parties and Organizations Committee
7-Nabila Saeed Ghaleb: Head of the Official Institutions Committee
8-Wahib Abdul Aziz Al-Mansoub: Chairman of the Communication and Dialogue Committee
9-Abdul Hadi Thabet Al-Azazi: Chairman of the Policies and Strategies Committee
Third: Forming a body for field operations from military and field leaders, and the names of the head and members of the body were appointed in accordance with the requirements of field work and support for the battle to restore the state
Fourth: The Executive Office and the departments attached to the Supreme Council: With this clause, the Council’s senior leadership decided to appoint the following
Muhammad Azzam Abdul Karim, head of the technical office
Amin Muhammad Dabwan Abdul Aleem, Head of the Media Department
Hussein Muhammad Omar, head of the Humanitarian Department
Mercy and eternity to our heroic martyrs
Healing for the wounded
Freedom for detainees
And glory to Yemen
Long live the Republic of Yemen
God is the Grantor, the Helper, and the Guide to the straight path
