Speech by the President of the Supreme Council of Resistance, Sheikh Hammoud Al-Mikhlafi,the 34 anniversary the unity

 On the occasion of the thirty-fourth anniversary of the declaration of the Republic of Yemen and the blessed national unity, I extend, on my own behalf and on behalf of my brothers, the leadership and members of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance, my sincere congratulations and congratulations on this occasion to our great Yemeni people with all its institutions, bodies, groups and components, and I especially congratulate our brave heroes stationed on the fronts defending the Republic and its constants.  Patriotism.

 May 22, 1990 AD was a turning point in our national path, as it represents a wonderful culmination of long decades of national struggle, consolidating the values ​​of the national movement steeped in history, believing in the values ​​and principles of the immortal September and October revolutions, and fulfilling the dream of millions of Yemenis to build a free homeland.  ,Secure and independent.

  The great sacrifices made by the great Yemeni people and the broad aspirations and hopes to preserve our homeland as a unified, federal state and a democratic republican system will not be overturned by the Iranian-backed Houthi coup, nor will they be weakened by our sectarian and regional contradictions, and that our people, despite the brutal means of oppression, will triumph over this backward priestly Imami fragmentation as  He defeated its preachers and priests previously.

   Such as the declaration of Yemeni unity as an expression of the unified political awareness and conscious collective will of the people, of the importance and inevitability of unity, and the Yemeni people today are qualified to defend their historical choices for freedom, progress, and overcoming difficulties and crises.

 The Supreme Council of Popular Resistance has been and will remain with the option of a just peace that guarantees the preservation of our national constants and the restoration of our state on the entire national territory, ends the coup and its effects and its consequences, and eliminates the factors that produce sectarian, regional and regional conflicts, a peace that leads to permanent security and stability and a state in which law and rule prevail.  Al-Rashid.

 On this great anniversary, we remember the fighters of the Yemeni National Movement and the heroic men of its resistance who wrote the epics of the national struggle in all fields and directions and made Yemen the 22nd of May, and they are still in the trenches of struggle and on the front lines of confrontation, stationed for the sake of a new, free, united and independent Yemen. We assure them that we are continuing in the covenant and on the path we are following.  We do not hesitate to do anything until all goals are achieved and all goals are achieved.

 A tribute of reverence and honor to our valiant popular resistance and the men of the National Army and Security who are steadfast on the battle fronts, stationed in defense of the Republic and unity, and mercy to our righteous martyrs, and a speedy recovery to our wounded wounded.
