((Statement text))

Praise be to God who said, "And God did not make it except as good tidings and that your hearts might be reassured by it. And victory is not but from God. Indeed, God is Exalted in Might and Wise." God Almighty is Truth.

The Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance extends its warmest congratulations to the great Syrian people and to the men of its victorious revolution, factions, operations management and the Free Army, on the resounding victory that was achieved at dawn on December 8, 2024 by reclaiming Damascus and toppling the criminal Assad regime at the conclusion of an honorable historical battle that succeeded in liberating Syria with rare courage, valor and morality.

Syria has been liberated from the tyranny of the Assad regime that has been sitting on it for more than half a century, killing, oppressing, abusing, and obscuring its people, and closing the political horizon to the will of the great Syrian people for democracy and the rule of law in a manner befitting their struggle and their generous land and their important position in the heart of this world.

The Syrian revolutionary resistance and its free army have presented an honorable model of clean liberation and the complete embodiment of construction and keenness on the safety of the Syrian state and its people with all their sects, the continuity of its institutions, and the early start of ending the manifestations of war and restoring life to the liberated cities and towns, which had a great impact on the absolute support shown by the Syrian people for the revolutionaries, and silenced the enemies, the lurkers, and the owners of malicious agendas.

The Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, while saluting the great heroism of the brotherly Syrian people, extends its appreciation and reverence to everyone who helped empower it, protect its revolution, and provide the reasons for this victory from its brothers and friends and all the free countries of the world that side with the choices of the peoples.

In Yemen, we look forward to a moment of liberation and imminent victory similar to what Syria is experiencing today in terms of restoring the state and defeating the fallen criminal regime, with a fundamental difference represented by the fact that the sectarian gang that imposed its authority and capabilities on the state is not a legitimate authority, but rather a rebellion recognized by international legitimacy resolutions and regional and international consensus, and all national components agree to criminalize it.

While the popular resistance stands alongside the national army and all military formations under the umbrella of legitimacy in a state of full readiness, and while all capabilities are available that allow our people to restore their state from the coup gang in Sana'a, the bet is on the alliance that has existed for a decade between the legitimate authority and its regional supporters led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who bear the historical and moral responsibility and fraternal commitment to unleash the potential and capabilities of the Yemeni people towards the desired liberation and victory, and everyone must realize the danger of Yemen remaining hostage to the current failure that threatens to have disastrous political, security and economic effects on Yemen, its neighbors and the world.

May God protect the Syrian people and grant them victory and empowerment in a free democratic state. We in Yemen have an appointment with the inevitable day of salvation that will restore our state with our free and independent national will and our legitimate aspirations to build a free, democratic and prosperous homeland.
