Final Statement of the Consultative Meeting of the Popular Resistance Councils in the Governorates.
Based on national and historical responsibility, and in response to the fateful challenges facing the Yemeni people, and under the auspices and organization of the Supreme Council for Popular Resistance, the consultative meeting of the Popular Resistance Councils in the governorates was held in the city of Taiz. The meeting was held in a spirit of national responsibility and was attended by a representative of the governorate's local authority. The meeting, held as part of the national battle to complete the restoration of the state and end the Houthi coup, was held.
The participants, representing the Yemeni governorates, discussed a number of national and field issues, reviewed the outcomes of the workshops and preparatory meetings, and emerged with a unified vision that responds to the call of national duty and the requirements of the current phase.
The consultative meeting of the Popular Resistance Councils in the governorates emphasized the following:
First: The consultative meeting appreciates the struggles, sacrifices, and steadfastness of our great Yemeni people in all governorates, liberated and non-liberated, and salutes their steadfast position rejecting the terrorist Houthi coup and their continued aspiration for salvation and the restoration of their state and republican system.
Second: The meeting expresses its great appreciation for the outcomes of the workshops held at the provincial and regional council level, which were imbued with a spirit of national responsibility and yielded realistic and ambitious visions and perspectives.
Third: It salutes the great sacrifices of the heroes of the National Army and the Popular Resistance, and their legendary steadfastness on the battlefields of honor. It also salutes our honorable martyrs and heroic wounded who sacrificed their lives, bodies, and blood in defense of the Yemeni people's right to freedom, dignity, and hope for a dignified future.
Fourth: It emphasizes the vital and effective role of the Popular Resistance and the Supreme Council of Resistance in the battle for liberation, the restoration of the state, and the end of the coup. It considers the Supreme Council to have a genuine legitimate right to contribute to determining the fate of the nation, through peace or war, in defense of our people's aspirations and hopes for freedom, dignity, and justice.
Fifth: It commends the role of the General Secretariat and the Political Body during the past period, and expresses its appreciation for their activity and efforts in strengthening the role of the resistance and achieving its national goals.
Sixth: It calls on the authorities—both the presidency and the government—to assume their national and historical responsibilities and fulfill their duty toward the national struggle and the requirements of restoring the state and ending the coup. It also calls on the authorities to address the economic situation and the living conditions of citizens, and to provide and improve basic services.
Seventh: It urges the authorities to confront the challenges and difficulties they face with the people, relying on them as the inherent right to self-determination and the defense of their state.
Eighth: It calls on all political forces, national components, and armed groups to review their positions and calculations, and to engage in a comprehensive national alignment that makes the battle to end the Houthi coup and overcome its repercussions the minimum for a national partnership befitting the greatness and sacrifices of the Yemeni people. It also calls on them to develop creative initiatives to achieve this noble national goal.
Ninth: It congratulates the victories of the brothers from the Syrian and Sudanese peoples, and calls on all Arab countries to support the two brotherly countries to overcome the hardships and difficulties they are experiencing, and to achieve stability.
Tenth: Strongly condemns the war of genocide and barbaric aggression waged by the Zionist entity against our Palestinian people in Gaza, and the resulting mass destruction and genocide, with evident Western complicity and support, and Arab and Islamic failure. It calls on all free forces and people of conscience in the world to work diligently to stop this brutal aggression.
Eleventh: Emphasizes the inevitability of the demise of the Houthi coup, the victory of the national project, and the restoration of the state, no matter how great the challenges and how wide the circle of failure, for the Yemeni popular will is invincible.
Twelfth: Calls for adopting the outcomes of the workshops and preparatory meetings that preceded this meeting as a practical starting point for a new phase of production and tireless work, in accordance with the principles of the internal work document, with a spirit of responsibility and high national resolve.
Thirteen: Calls upon brotherly and friendly countries to support the choices of the Yemeni people and their legitimate right to restore their state and end the Houthi coup. It affirms that all options that do not stem from this popular will of the Yemeni people will only prolong the war and deepen the tragedy.
Fourteen: Emphasizes that the radical solution to Yemen's problems, and the resulting militarization of the Red Sea, the threat to international navigation, and the security risks surrounding the region and the Arab world, lies in ending the Houthi coup and disarming the terrorist Houthi militias. Any patchwork solutions or limited operations will only further complicate and exacerbate the situation and are likely to exacerbate the state of chaos resulting from the absence of the state and its institutions.
Fifteen: Applauds the free writers and patriotic voices in various media outlets and platforms, representing a parallel front to the military and political fronts, no less important than them. It reminds all members of this community of their leadership role at this stage in unifying the path, restoring the option of liberating the homeland to the forefront of objectives, and distancing society and its components from side battles and conflicts that do not distance it from this goal.
Sixteen: Highly appreciates the essential role of youth and the contributions made by Yemeni women, alongside various segments of society, in serving the nation and fulfilling its liberation aspirations.
