Taiz – Exclusive

The Popular Resistance Council in Ash Shamayatayn District, Taiz Governorate, announced its full readiness to participate in the battle to complete the liberation of the governorate and Yemen, restore the state, and end the coup of the terrorist Houthi militia.

This came during a mass public event organized by the council, under the auspices and supervision of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, with the attendance of thousands of resistance leaders and men and popular supporters.

The event began with a welcoming speech delivered by Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Maqrami, a leader in the Ash Shamayatayn Resistance, in which he welcomed the leaders and heroes of the popular resistance in Ash Shamayatayn, and the deputy head of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, Sheikh Abdul Raqeeb Al-Subaihi. He emphasized the struggle of Ash Shamayatayn District against the Houthi militia, as it was among the first to rise up against the coup gang.

In a speech delivered by the Popular Resistance Council in Taiz Governorate, delivered by resistance leader Nabil Al-Adimi, he stated that this vigil is not just an event, but a declaration of full readiness to support the national army in the battle to complete the liberation and end the terrorist Houthi militia coup.

Al-Adimi expressed his appreciation to the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, headed by Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, for its efforts in supporting the resistance and unifying the national ranks, stressing that victory is inevitable and that the resolve of the resistance fighters will shape the future of the nation.

For his part, the Director General of Ash-Shamayateen District, Abdul Aziz Al-Shaibani, stated that Ash-Shamayateen, the city of Numan and a cultural capital, stood steadfastly in the face of the Houthi militia. He recalled the revolutionary action witnessed in the city of Al-Turbah in early 2015, which escalated into a resistance movement. The remnants of the Houthi militia, who had been wearing Central Security uniforms, were expelled. The people of the district also resisted the militia on various battlefronts against this militia.

Al-Shaibani emphasized that the assembled crowds are resistance fighters supporting the national army, and that popular resistance is the way to mobilize the fronts and achieve liberation. He explained that regional changes provide Yemenis with a great opportunity to defeat the Houthi coup, complete the liberation, and restore the state.

The speech of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, delivered by Sheikh Abdulraqeeb Al-Subaihi, Vice President of the Supreme Council, praised the history of the Ash Shamayatayn district and its role in the struggle, both past and present. He noted that it has produced historical national figures and has always been a stronghold against the projects of the Imamate and tyranny.

Sheikh Al-Subaihi conveyed the greetings of the President of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, and his praise for the mass mobilization and the resistance fighters who affirmed their readiness to support the national army. He emphasized that this phase requires greater cohesion and preparedness, considering that restoring the state is not an option, but an inevitable fate.

The council's speech emphasized several key points, most notably: non-compromise on the national cause, standing behind the legitimate leadership, and closing ranks to achieve liberation, free from any side disputes. It also praised the cohesion between the popular resistance, the national army, and the local authorities in Taiz, considering it a safety valve for completing the liberation of the governorate and achieving the will of its people.

For his part, Mr. Abdul Hadi Al-Azazi, a member of the political body of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, said that the legitimate authority must make the decisive decision, determine its options, and work to end divisions and unify ranks in order to lead the country forward.

Al-Azazi pointed out that the most appropriate way to resolve the situation in Yemen is for Yemeni society to create and implement the solution itself, through resistance and the completion of the liberation through comprehensive popular resistance.

The event featured patriotic chants, in addition to raising the Palestinian flag alongside the Yemeni flag. The crowd chanted for Gaza as a cause of resistance, and they denounced the genocide committed by the occupation forces against the people of Gaza.

The mass event concluded with the reiteration and renewal of the pledge to continue engaging in the national battle and to adhere to the popular resistance and its national path until victory is achieved, represented by the complete liberation of the homeland, the restoration of the state, and the end of the terrorist Houthi militia coup.
