The President of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance congratulates the National Day of the Republic of France

The head of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance, Sheikh Hammoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, congratulated the friendly French people and their government, on the occasion of France’s National Day, the fourteenth of July, the anniversary of the French Revolution and the victory of the Republic over the monarchy, in 1789.

The President of the Supreme Council of Resistance praised the prominent political role played by the Republic of France towards the Republic of Yemen, its support for the Yemeni government, and its defense of Yemen’s unity and stability.

This came in the telegram sent by the President of the Council, today, to Her Excellency Mrs. Catherine Cormeaux, Ambassador of the French Republic to our country.
