We are pleased in the Popular Resistance Council in Taiz to warmly welcome the historic visit of His Excellency the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, and his accompanying delegation to Taiz Governorate, which is the first of its kind for a President of the Republic since the Houthi coup and his war on the Yemenis.

This visit is of particular importance to Taiz Governorate as it is the governorate in which the popular resistance was formed and the hordes of the brutal priestly coup were defeated at its gates, writing the greatest epics of the republic and dignity, and during which Taiz presented tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded and great material and moral sacrifices, and because of this pioneering role in the resistance, it has come to suffer a lot and a lot, due to the massive destruction of the infrastructure and the severe shortage of basic services and the extremely difficult humanitarian and living conditions that this has left behind.

It has become settled and agreed upon by everyone that completing the liberation of Taiz and the Al-Jund region in particular constitutes a gateway to liberating Yemen in general, ending the coup and restoring the Yemeni state on the entire national territory, which necessitates that the Popular Resistance Council in Taiz Governorate submit the following demands to His Excellency the President, arranged in order of priority:

First: Not to rely on any negotiations with the Houthi group, as this group is an Iranian war and expansion project and does not see in negotiations, settlements and peace anything but surrender and surrender to Yemen, land and people, and to achieve this, it maneuvers, procrastinates and exploits time in preparing to enable this Persian project.

Second: Based on the previous fact, we in the Popular Resistance Council ask His Excellency the President to give maximum support to the national army and the popular resistance with everything that qualifies it to complete the liberation of the governorate and lift the siege on the city of Taiz and move forward to liberate Ibb Governorate and launch from the Al-Jund region to overthrow the Houthi coup and restore the republic and the state.

Third: Caring for the families of martyrs and wounded from the National Army and the Popular Resistance and striving to alleviate their suffering and provide a decent life that befits them and their great sacrifices.

Fourth: Taking measures to ensure the improvement of basic services in the governorate, especially the electricity, water, education, health, hygiene and sanitation sectors, by adopting budgets to rehabilitate and operate these sectors and adopting policies that maximize their productivity and the productivity of the local authority and limit the encroachment of corruption and the waste of public money and ensure the appointment of honest and qualified cadres to avoid the governorate from falling into financial and administrative failure.

Finally, we hope that these demands will be given special attention by the President to enhance the steadfastness of Taiz and victory for the Republic and loyalty to the blood of our righteous martyrs and the sacrifices of our blessed wounded.
