The political body of the Supreme Council of Resistance stands in front of developments on the national scene

 In its regular meeting held today, the political body of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance addressed the developments taking place in the national arena at all political, military and security levels, and the Council’s continuing efforts to improve performance related to serving the wounded and people with special needs among the heroes of the resistance on various fronts.

 During the meeting, the Chairman of the Commission, Member of the House of Representatives, Sheikh Abdul Karim Al-Aslami, presented an aspect of his field activities in the city of Ma’rib and his numerous meetings with various community forces in the city, which, as he described, represents the major front in the battle to defeat the coup and restore the state.

 He expressed his confidence that the political and national forces in Ma'rib Governorate are working in a high spirit to confront the threats to the efforts of the Yemeni people and their aspirations to restore their state amidst this huge amount of complications.

 He stressed the need to move forward in exchanging loyalty for the heroes of the resistance on all fronts by upgrading the services provided to them in a way that befits their dignity and sacrifices, an effort that was launched by the Supreme Council of Resistance in both Taiz Governorate and an important part of which is being implemented in Ma’rib Governorate.  But he stressed the need for this to come within the framework of comprehensive cooperation between all official and societal activities, in a way that reflects the unity of the national position towards this important and sensitive issue.

 At the meeting, the political body of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance stood before the items on its agenda related to the political and communication efforts of the body based on the political program of the council, which emphasizes working with all possible efforts in order to keep the options of the Yemeni people open to what the complex composition of the following initiatives may lead to.  From abroad, to ensure that the Yemeni people regain the initiative and maintain the required level of partnership with international and regional parties supporting efforts to restore the state and defeat the coup.

 The political body expressed the great importance of the efforts made by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance, Sheikh Hammoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, and his brothers in the Council’s senior leadership, which have a profound impact on achieving the Council’s goals and consecrating the national status of the Popular Resistance and its role in securing legitimate options to defend the state, the republic, and the national partnership.
