Al-Mikhlafi: The Supreme Council was established to be a support for the army in the battle to restore the state

The head of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance, Sheikh Hammoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, said that the Supreme Council was established and brought into the light to be a backer for the national army and its support, protecting the gains of the national struggle, defending it, and preserving what remained of the entity of legitimacy and the institutions emanating from it

 Sheikh Al-Mikhlafi added in a speech via video call: The issue of the wounded needs concerted efforts and the integration of programmes, projects and plans that aim to alleviate their suffering, alleviate them, rehabilitate them and integrate them into society

 He pointed out that the Supreme Council presented the initiative to establish and operate a professional academy to rehabilitate the wounded and the families of the martyrs in Ma’rib Governorate, and is actively following up on the completion of the procedures and communicating with the relevant authorities to find a distinguished partnership in launching this qualitative and vital project

 The President of the Supreme Council stressed the support of the popular resistance for everything that would strengthen the steadfastness of the proud Ma’rib Governorate, the citadel of the Republic and its impregnable fortress in the face of the terrorist Houthi militias, and to establish the foundations of security and stability there

This was signed by the Vice President of the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance, Dr.  Abdul Hamid Amer concluded a work agreement to establish twenty housing units for paralyzed wounded with the implementing company as a first stage and under the supervision of the Military Medical Committee.

 The Vice President of the Council, Dr.  Abdul Hamid said that the wounded are the icon of struggling peoples and there is no good in a nation that does not care about its wounded, stressing that the Supreme Council is continuing its efforts to contribute to addressing the file of the wounded of the National Army and the resistance by various means

 For his part, Chairman of the Military Medical Committee, Brigadier General Abdel-Aleem Hassan, thanked the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance for its efforts and initiative in supporting projects for the wounded of the National Army

 He continued by saying that the wounded army soldiers of the nation responded to his call at a decisive moment, responded to the directives of their military leaders, and fought battles confronting the coup militia, and today they are awaiting fulfillment

 The signing event was attended by a number of heads and members of the Popular Resistance Councils in the governorates, the Deputy Chairman of the Military Medical Committee, Ali Al-Hadma, and the Director of the Technical Office of the Supreme Council in Marib, Engineer Anwar Al-Humairi

 It is noteworthy that the Humanitarian Department of the Supreme Council pays the greatest attention to the wounded and paralyzed, as it delivers monthly salaries to more than 700 wounded and paralyzed from several Yemeni governorates
