The Supreme Council offers condolences on the passing of the Emir of the sisterly State of Kuwait
Believing in God’s will and destiny, and with great emotion and pain, the Supreme Council of Yemeni Popular Resistance shares the grief and grief of the brotherly people of Kuwait and the Arab and Islamic nation over the passing of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who passed away leaving behind an honorable legacy of positions and achievements, topped by that well-known and courageous bias towards the issues of the Arab nation, foremost of which is the issue of Palestine.
During his leadership of the State of Kuwait over three years, the late great embodied this wise and courageous approach, which strengthened the position of his country’s leadership and people in the hearts of our Arab and Islamic peoples, as the name of Kuwait was associated with constructive positions and unlimited support, effort and giving, positions of which the Yemeni memory retains many aspects. While the Supreme Council expresses its deep sadness at the passing of a great leader of our nation, it wishes success and prosperity to His Highness the new Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to be the best successor to the best predecessor, and also looks forward to further development in relations between the Republic of Yemen and the State of Kuwait , as it the interest of the two countries, the two peoples, and the Arab and Islamic nations
