The Popular Resistance Council in Jabal Habashi District, Taiz Governorate, announced its full readiness to participate in the battle to complete the liberation of the governorate and all of Yemen, restore the state, and end the Houthi militia coup.

This came during a mass public event sponsored and supervised by the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance. Thousands of resistance leaders and men, as well as members of the popular base, attended the event. They emphasized the necessity of resuming the liberation battle and reaffirmed their commitment to legitimacy and their support for the National Army until the Houthi coup is ended and the state is restored.

During his speech at the event, Sheikh Faris Al-Maliki, Director of Jabal Habashi District, emphasized the district's firm position in continuing the armed struggle against the Houthi militias and restoring the state. He also announced the readiness of the Popular Resistance in Jabal Habashi to continue the liberation battle and defend the Republic.

Al-Maliki pointed out that the people of the district, who were among the first to join the resistance, renew their pledge to continue the struggle until every inch of the homeland is liberated, affirming their full support for the legitimate government, the National Army, and the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, led by Sheikh Hamoud Al-Mikhlafi.

The speech of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, delivered by Mr. Majdi Al-Qabati, the Council's General Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs, emphasized the importance of continuing the national struggle behind the National Army until complete liberation and the restoration of the Yemeni state. He praised the popular crowds that are gathering with determination to demand the completion of the battle, emphasizing that the resistance is ongoing and escalating.

The Supreme Council also stressed the need to unify national forces and components and accelerate the consolidation of ranks to confront the coup plot. It warned against the dangers of complacency in this crucial task, reiterating its support for the legitimate government and its full support for it until victory is achieved.

For his part, Colonel Abdo Hamoud Al-Saghir, Chief of Operations of the 17th Infantry Brigade, emphasized in his speech that the people of Taiz have written heroic epics on Jabal Habashi and across the fronts of Taiz and Yemen. He pointed out that the free people's awareness of the danger of the Houthi project placed them at the forefront of the resistance from the first moment.

He pointed out that various segments of society—intellectuals, scholars, academics, and students—participated in confronting the Houthis, giving Taiz the final say and leadership in confronting the coup. He highlighted the great sacrifices made by the governorate, including thousands of martyrs and tens of thousands of wounded, in defense of the homeland and the republic. He emphasized that the sons of the National Army will continue the national battle until victory is achieved and the state is restored.

Colonel Abdul Hakim Al-Sarukh, Deputy Head of the Morale Guidance Division of the Taiz Axis, emphasized that the National Army and the Popular Resistance stand in one trench to defend religion and homeland against the Houthi militia.  He added that Jabal Habashi was one of the first districts to rise up against the oppressive militia, and pointed to the jihadist, militant, and patriotic image embodied by the Taiz districts.

Colonel Al-Saroukh's speech also addressed the value of jihad and its role in defending religion and homeland. He thanked the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, headed by Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, for sponsoring these national events.

At the conclusion of the mass event, thousands of heroes from the Popular Resistance and the popular base chanted in unison, renewing their pledge to continue the national battle until victory is achieved. They affirmed their commitment to the path of the popular resistance until the liberation of Yemen is completed, the state is restored, and the Houthi coup is ended.
