Taiz witnessed a massive public celebration on Tuesday to mark the graduation of 1,200 students, including wounded, families of martyrs, and prisoners, from the Ihtiraf Institute for Training and Rehabilitation. The celebration was held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, head of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, on the occasion of the national holidays of September, October, and November. The celebration was attended by a large number of officials and citizens.

The class, which was named "Martyr Ifthan Al-Mashhari," was the fourth to graduate from the institute. It includes 17 professional, technical, and engineering specializations, as part of a program aimed at qualifying young people and enabling them to enter the labor market, launch their own businesses, and support their families.

In a speech by the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, Sheikh Abdul Raqeeb Al-Subaihi, Vice President of the Council and Chairman of the Popular Resistance Council in Aden Region, said that the celebration of the Ihtiraf Institute for Training and Rehabilitation's graduation of the martyr Ifthan Al-Mashhari class, which includes 1,200 male and female graduates from the families of martyrs and wounded, represents a moment of pride and loyalty that reflects the spirit of the resistant Taiz, which opened its doors with knowledge, work, and determination, despite the siege and suffering.

In his speech, Al-Subaihi conveyed the greetings and congratulations of Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, to his sons and daughters, the graduates, and his deep appreciation for the efforts of the institute's management and training staff. He emphasized that "Ihtiraf was not merely a training facility, but rather a comprehensive national project that transformed pain into hope, and need into productivity, under the inspiring slogan, 'My Profession is in My Hands.'"

He added that this class, named after the martyr Ifthan Al-Mashhari, embodies the meanings of loyalty to the principles of the martyr who was assassinated by criminal hands about three weeks ago in the midst of this resilient city.  He added, "We are confident that Taiz will prevail for her blood, and we salute the security efforts and achievements that followed her tragic assassination, asking God to accept her into the highest heavens."

Al-Subaihi praised the significant role played by Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, saying, "He is an exceptional fighter who combined the struggle of arms with the struggle of construction. He never stopped caring for the wounded and the families of martyrs and supporting pioneering development projects. The Ihtiraf Institute is one of his most prominent national landmarks."

For his part, the First Deputy Governor of Taiz, Dr. Abdul-Qawi Al-Mikhlafi, said that the local authorities in Taiz Governorate, led by Governor Nabil Shamsan, are proud to participate with the Ihtiraf Institute for Training and Rehabilitation in the graduation ceremony of the martyr Ifthan Al-Mashhari class, coinciding with Yemen's celebrations of the September, October, and November holidays. He emphasized that Taiz will remain the beating heart of the Republic and the home of the free.

The First Deputy Governor praised the efforts of Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi and the Ihtiraf Institute in serving the wounded, the families of martyrs, and prisoners through training and economic empowerment programs, which embody the spirit of resistance in the fields of construction and development.

Deputy Al-Mikhlafi emphasized that the people of Taiz will remain partners in sacrifice and construction, continuing to strive.  With determination towards freedom and dignity, in loyalty to the sacrifices of the martyrs and the patience of the wounded, and in faith in the just federal Yemen for which the heroes fought.
