Aden – Exclusive
The Popular Resistance Council in Aden Province declared its readiness and preparedness to participate in the battle to complete the liberation of Yemen and end the Houthi militia coup.
This came during a mass public event organized by the Council in the Al-Sabiha District of Lahj Governorate, under the auspices and supervision of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance. Thousands of tribal leaders and dignitaries attended the event, affirming their readiness to engage in the decisive battle to end the Houthi coup and restore state institutions.
At the event, Sheikh Abdul Raqeeb Al-Subaihi, Vice President of the Supreme Council and Chairman of the Popular Resistance Council in the Aden region, said, "The men of the Popular Resistance are fully prepared and ready to participate in the battle to end the Houthi coup, alongside the national army, and to restore state institutions that have been usurped for decades."
Al-Subaihi added, "Just as our fathers and grandfathers from the Subaiha tribes and all the people of the Aden region participated in eliminating the Imamate rule, their descendants today carry the same chivalry and generosity to participate in defeating the new Imams and ending the Houthi coup."
He cited the confrontation with the Houthi militias and the liberation of areas of the Aden region in late-mid-July 2015 (corresponding to Ramadan 27, 1436 AH), a period that witnessed the historic liberation of the region.
The Vice President of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance conveyed the congratulations and blessings of the Council's leadership to the brotherly Sudanese people and the leadership of the Sudanese army on the occasion of achieving victory and defeating the militias in the capital, Khartoum.
For his part, tribal sheikh and leader of the Popular Resistance, Hilmi Al-Mukmahi, delivered a speech in which he praised the victory. Thanks to the efforts of the leadership of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, headed by Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, the Council's Chairman, in mobilizing energies, unifying ranks, and fully preparing to liberate the Yemeni homeland from the filth of the Houthi militias that have wreaked havoc across the land.
The event featured chants for Gaza and denunciations of the genocide being perpetrated against its people by the Israeli occupation forces.
The event concluded with a renewed pledge to continue the struggle and adhere to the popular resistance until the complete liberation of Yemen and the end of the Houthi coup.
