Popular Resistance Council in Raymah: The blood of martyred Sheikh Hantos is in the memory of every Yemeni

Yemen: Exclusive

The Popular Resistance Council in Raymah Governorate affirmed that the blood of Sheikh Saleh Hantos, a Quran teacher in the Salafiyya District, will not be shed in vain. He is in the memory of every Yemeni, and that accountability for this Houthi crime is inevitable.

The council said in a statement that Sheikh Hantos was martyred Tuesday evening while defending himself, his honor, his dignity, and his home against a heavily armed and cowardly Houthi arsenal, which besieged him in his home and bombarded it with a brutality comparable only to that of the Zionist occupation.

The statement added that Sheikh Hantos bravely resisted the Houthi aggressors, refusing to surrender despite the tight siege and violent shelling of his home. He knew that the criminal militia only came to kill. He fought until the last bullet and ascended as free people love to ascend: proud, dignified, and victorious for his dignity.

The statement noted that the martyr's wife joined him in his steadfastness and was injured while loading ammunition for him, a heroic scene that will be remembered by free people for a long time and immortalized in national memory.

The Popular Resistance Council called for a general mobilization and popular alignment in Raymah Governorate in response to this heinous crime, which confirms that the Houthi project targets every free voice, every dear home, and every person who refuses to submit and subjugate.

It also called on all national republican forces to assume their responsibilities and move forward with a comprehensive national battle against this bloody Imami project, which is reproducing the occupation under religious masks and false rhetoric.

The statement also urged media professionals and opinion activists to document the crime and expose the practices of the Houthi militia, which "hides behind Palestinian slogans while committing the same crimes in Rima and elsewhere as the Zionist occupation in Gaza."

The Resistance Council concluded its statement by affirming that "Rima has never been a place of slaves, and it will never be," and that "no matter how long the Houthi night is, the dawn of Rima and the dawn of Yemen will inevitably come."
