The Political Body of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance called for multi-track field action to save Yemen and the Yemenis, and to overcome the state of impotence suffered by the institutions of the legitimate authority.

This came during a periodic meeting held by the Political Body of the Council, which was devoted to monitoring the rapid developments witnessed in the Yemeni arena, affected by a set of international positions related to the Yemeni file, in addition to the items related to the agenda of the Council's political activities at the internal and external levels.

In the meeting, which was chaired by Mr. Abdul Karim Al-Aslami, Head of the Political Body of the Council and Member of the House of Representatives, the Political Body praised the commemorative activities for the fourteenth anniversary of the February 11 Revolution, which culminated in the massive march called for by the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance in the city of Taiz, the capital of the revolution, with the active participation of all national forces and components.

The Authority saluted the heroism and sacrifices made by the National Army and the Resistance on the fronts of confrontation with the coup plotters, who insist on obstructing efforts to establish peace and end the coup and continue sectarian collusion with the Iranian alliance to undermine the Yemeni state.

The Political Authority expressed its great interest in the need to stimulate the political environment to adopt field struggle approaches that go beyond the rigid rules that have shackled the Yemeni people, paralyzed their political will and mortgaged them to the will of external actors, and to overcome the state of impotence suffered by the legitimate authority institutions, which has made them unable to take the initiative and invest in the opportunities provided by the strict international positions towards the coup plotters.

The Political Authority of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance stressed the need to work within several military, political and economic paths for rescue, to overcome the state of dangerous paralysis in the political and national decision, reaching a level of action required by the urgent rescue operation for the Yemeni people from the clutches of the frightening economic collapse accompanied by a state of chaos at the security level driven by the encroachment of parallel entities.
