Abyan: Chairman of the Popular Resistance Council inspects conditions in Lawdar and stresses the need to enhance support and develop services

As part of field monitoring and the performance of service institutions, the Chairman of the Popular Resistance Council in Abyan Governorate, Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Jild, visited Lawdar District and met with local authority leaders. He began the meeting with a presentation on the path and objectives of the Supreme Council of the Yemeni Popular Resistance.


Sheikh Al-Jild met with the Director General of the District, Mr. Jamal Al-Alah, and the Director of the Martyr Mahnaf Hospital in Lawdar, Dr. Nabil Al-Kazmi. He listened to a detailed explanation of the most prominent challenges facing the local authority and the stalled service projects. He discussed with them ways to overcome these obstacles and improve performance.


The Chairman of the Resistance Council also visited Mahnaf General Hospital and reviewed the progress of work and the health services provided to citizens. He reiterated his support for the health sector in the district with the aim of improving the quality of medical services.


The local authority welcomed the Chairman of the Council, emphasizing that the real enemy of the country is the terrorist Houthi militia. They called for continued support to provide projects that meet the needs of citizens, believing that such support is the way to overcome challenges and achieve the desired development.


 Sheikh Al-Jild called for solidarity and working together for the benefit of the district and the community, noting that this visit comes within the framework of confronting the negative repercussions of the Houthi coup and the relentless efforts to overcome crises and improve the lives of citizens. Sheikh Al-Jild was accompanied on the visit by the former Director General of Lodar District, Mr. Nasser Awad Musa, the Head of Services and Resources at the Abyan Resistance Council, Sheikh Alawi Mohammed Al-Barkani, and the Head of the Council's Media Department, Hassan Jaabal.
