The "Wahj Al-Jumhuriyah Forum" held today in Ma'rib Governorate, the event of signing the poetry collection of the martyr Sheikh Nayef Al-Jamai in conjunction with the ninth anniversary of his martyrdom, and under the auspices of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance.


In the event, the head of the Popular Resistance Council in Ibb Governorate, Sheikh Fawaz Al-Jamai, welcomed the attendees and conveyed to them the greetings of the head of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi.


Sheikh Fawaz Al-Jamai said that the ninth anniversary of the martyrdom of the Wahj Al-Jumhuriyah, Sheikh Nayef Al-Jamai, comes today with documenting the literary biography and immortalizing the career of the knight of the rifle and the pen, who was known in various fields. He was the sheikh, the writer, the leader, the director, and the knight who ignited the resistance against the priesthood and offered his soul cheaply.


 Major General Ahmed Al-Bahash, Director of the College of Aviation and Air Defense, praised the virtues of the martyr and mentioned a number of the martyr's heroic stances since the first shot of the popular resistance in Ibb Governorate and its transfer to Al-Dhale until he was martyred while advancing the ranks on the Damt front.


Professor Majed Al-Awdi presented a summary of the Diwan of the martyr Sheikh Nayef Al-Jamai, may God have mercy on him, and his poems that started from the mountains of Manar Badan and Ibb and carried the concerns of Yemen and the Arab nation and lived the issues of the homeland with his thought and embodied his literary epics in them.


The event concluded with the presentation of the Shield of the Glow of the Republic to Professor Majed Al-Awdi in recognition of his efforts in collecting the Diwan of the martyr. A number of personalities and entities supporting the immortalization and documentation of the literature of resistance were also honored.
