The Popular Resistance Council in Taiz condemns the assassination of Iftahan Al-Mashhari and calls on security authorities to swiftly arrest the killers.

The Popular Resistance Council in Taiz Governorate called on security authorities to swiftly pursue the perpetrators involved in the assassination of Ms. Iftahan Al-Mashhari, Director General of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in the governorate, arrest them immediately, and impose the harshest penalties against them. This will ensure justice and restore peace to the public.

The Council condemned in the strongest terms this heinous, shocking, and horrific crime that targeted Ms. Al-Mashhari and shook the conscience of the people of Taiz and Yemen as a whole.

The Council emphasized that this crime is not only an attack on a public figure, but a treacherous stab in the heart of Taiz and an insult to all noble values, honor, and manhood. It also sends a dangerous message targeting the security, tranquility, and stability of the Taiz community.

 The Popular Resistance Council in Taiz expressed its sincere condolences to the martyr's family, her colleagues, and all the people of Taiz, stressing that Taiz, which has offered thousands of martyrs in defense of freedom and dignity, will not allow the return of the chaos of assassinations and will not accept that such crimes go unpunished.
