Sheikh Al-Subaihi: November 30th confirms that the will of the people is invincible and that popular resistance is the path to victory

Sheikh Abdul Raqeeb Al-Subaihi, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Popular Resistance, said that the glorious November 30th National Day is an exceptional event that confirms that the will of the people is invincible and that armed struggle and popular resistance are the path to victory.

This came in a speech he gave on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of Independence Day, in which he congratulated the Yemeni people on this immortal anniversary, which he stressed that Yemenis consider a glorious national holiday, and not just an ordinary day, on which our fathers wrote immortal pages in the history of contemporary Yemen with letters of light, through their success in expelling the British colonizer, who dominated southern Yemen for 128 years.

 Sheikh Al-Subaihi, head of the Popular Resistance Council in Aden, said that the Yemeni people, north and south, lived through years of struggle, cohesive, owning their decision and imposing their will until the goals of the September 26 and October 14 revolutions were achieved, and until they were able to expel the last British colonizer who was dragging behind him the tails of disappointment and defeat.

He added that the victory of the Yemeni will at that time was not a sudden event, nor was it born of that moment or year, but rather came as a culmination of years of struggle and popular resistance, and making sacrifices on the path to achieving freedom and independence.

He pointed out that "when the Yemenis armed themselves with the justice of their cause and the greatness of their goals, they were able to shatter the arrogance of the British colonizer, with their modest capabilities." He added that "this is a great lesson for all Yemenis, and peoples who believe in their rights and values, resisting oppression and tyranny are not defeated by the armies of tyranny, but they must triumph, no matter how long it takes and no matter how great the sacrifices."

 The Vice President of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance said, "This glorious national anniversary comes upon us while the Yemenis are resisting the Houthi coup for the tenth year in a row, motivating them to continue the popular resistance and confront the coup until victory is achieved, just as the armed struggle was able to expel the British occupier.

Sheikh Al-Subaihi stressed that the popular resistance today is the bearer of the struggle project until the defeat of the Houthi coup that destroyed Yemen and brought upon it all disasters and calamities.. stressing at the same time that the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance proceeds from the vision that victory is dependent on unity of ranks and directing guns towards the battle to restore the state and defeat the Houthi coup that works as an agent for Iran in our country.

Sheikh Al-Subaihi concluded his speech by addressing the free men and women of Yemen: "We must be confident that just as the Yemenis were previously able to defeat the great empire on which the sun never sets and eliminate the Imamate, today, despite all the dire circumstances, they are able to eradicate the Houthi pandemic and build a homeland worthy of the great sacrifices," stressing that this "requires unity of ranks and expansion and activation  The act of resistance, according to popular will and national decision.
