"Yemen's Supreme Council for Popular Resistance Hails Victory in 'Al-Aqsa Flood' Operation

Yemen’s Supreme Council for Popular Resistance has lauded the victory achieved by the Palestinian resistance in the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation, describing it as a "significant victory" wrested from the clutches of the Israeli occupation forces, one of the region's strongest armies and backed by Western powers.

In a statement, the Council expressed its pride and admiration for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance in the face of the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip for a year and three months, which has resulted in over 150,000 casualties, including more than 20,000 children, as well as the destruction of homes, public facilities, and infrastructure.

The Supreme Council for Popular Resistance explained that the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation has laid the foundations for glory and dignity, and has returned the Palestinian cause to its rightful path, which will lead to the liberation of Palestine and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The Council affirmed that the steadfastness and valiant resistance of the Palestinian people have become an icon for the struggle and national liberation movements, and an eternal symbol of steadfastness that has thwarted the occupation's plans and foiled its goals, forcing it to submit to the will of the resistance and its people and agree to a plan to release prisoners through negotiations.

The Supreme Council for Popular Resistance emphasized the steadfast and principled position of the Yemeni people in supporting the Palestinian cause and the right of the Palestinian people to restore their state and liberate their occupied land, no matter how long the occupation lasts or how great its crimes.

The Council praised the honorable roles played by Qatar and Egypt in achieving the agreement and providing comprehe

nsive support to the residents of the Gaza Strip, calling on the Arab League and Arab governments to resume their role and responsibilities towards the Gaza Strip in these exceptional circumstances and to work by all possible means to secure the necessary needs and requirements for restoring life to the Strip, and enabling its residents to return to their homes and provide temporary housing for those whose homes have been destroyed.

The Council concluded its statement by praying for mercy for the martyrs, healing for the wounded, and expressing solidarity with the families of the missing."
