The Political Bureau of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance hosts an iftar banquet for Yemeni political, military, and media figures in Cairo

The Political Bureau of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, hosted an iftar banquet attended by a number of Yemeni political and military leaders and media figures present in Cairo.

The banquet provided an opportunity to discuss the developments taking place in Yemen at this stage, with participants unanimously agreeing on the importance of bringing about a fundamental shift in the national struggle towards restoring the state and ending this dark era in Yemen's history. This era was shaped by the Houthi group's criminal coup against the political process, plunging the country into the abyss of war. This has left behind catastrophes and tragedies and hindered the Yemeni people's ability to continue building the state and advancing Yemen's future.

The participants expressed the importance of redirecting national action toward the priorities of the current phase, namely restoring the state, without compromising the country's unity and independence.
