The city of Taiz witnessed a massive march on Tuesday, organized by the Popular Resistance Council in the governorate, to commemorate the 14th anniversary of the February 11 Revolution.
Hundreds of thousands of revolutionaries from various directorates of Taiz Governorate participated in the march, which started from Jamal Street to Freedom Square, stressing the continuation of the blessed revolution until its goals are fully achieved.
The Popular Resistance Council in Taiz Governorate confirmed, in a speech delivered by Council member Sheikh Saeed Sultan Al-Faqih, the continuation of the February 11 Revolution until its full goals are achieved, stressing that the Yemeni people are still committed to the principles of their revolution and that the February Revolution represented a pivotal stage in the country's history.
The Council stressed that the February Revolution was the "most peaceful and just" among all revolutions, and that it was very close to achieving its goals, and achieved important strategic transformations, most notably the independence of national decision-making and the elimination of tyranny, in addition to the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference, which formed a comprehensive document to solve Yemeni problems.
The Council pointed out that the achievements made did not please the enemies of the revolution who allied to the events of the coup that plunged the country into many crises, stressing that the revolution will continue until the state is restored and the coup and its repercussions are ended.
The Popular Resistance Council sent several messages, the first of which was to the Yemeni people, calling on them to remain steadfast and steadfast in the face of the coup plotters, stressing that victory is near, despite all attempts to spread chaos and terrorism to dissuade the will of the people.
The Council also called on the leadership of legitimacy and the government to assume their responsibilities in restoring the state and alleviating the suffering of citizens, demanding the improvement of living conditions, moving the wheel of the economy and development, and re-exporting oil and gas, noting that the people's patience is about to run out.
In its message to the Houthi militia, the Popular Resistance Council stressed that the Yemeni people will not forget the crimes of the priestly Houthi militia, threatening them with an upcoming reckoning and the anger of the people that will come upon them from the beginning, and that the calculations of countries and the game of interests that the militia hopes for will not benefit them.
The Council also addressed the international community and regional countries, calling for a review of the assessments and readings of what is happening in Yemen, noting that the Houthi militia is an entity alien to the Yemeni people, and the people cannot accept it no matter how the pretexts or names change, stressing that the militia does not know the meaning of coexistence and peace.
The statement of the march, delivered by the member of the Popular Resistance Council in Taiz, Mr. Abdul-Wadud Al-Hajj, stressed that the February 11 revolution led to consensus and agreement and to a comprehensive national dialogue conference that led a broad dialogue that resulted in drawing a clear roadmap, which angered the forces of the dark priestly project that led, with dark intentions and a vile conspiracy, the ominous September 21 coup that led the country into a dark tunnel to this day. He pointed out that what the country is suffering from today in terms of a bad economic situation and a difficult living condition is the result of that catastrophic coup. He pointed out that the celebration of the anniversary of February 11 comes to consolidate the spirit of the revolution and strengthen the unity of the republican ranks, calling for overcoming differences and collective work for the sake of liberation and restoring the state. He also stressed the need for the political leadership to assume its historical responsibilities with the spirit of the resistance, not the spirit of the negotiator, and to work to improve the economic situation and alleviate the suffering of citizens due to the collapse of the national currency and the rise in prices.
