Statement of condolence
It is with great sadness that the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance in Yemen mourns Sheikh Mubarak bin Ali bin Gharib Al Shabwan, the deputy governor of Ma’rib Governorate and one of its prominent notables, who passed away today, Monday, after a courageous journey with the incurable disease that struck him in the prime of his youth and in the midst of the confrontation battle with the coup. The brutal priesthood, of which the deceased was one of its brave leaders and distinguished heroes
Today, he is next to his Lord, leaving a legacy that successive Yemeni generations will provide, and he will remain a witness to the sacrifices made by Sheikh Mubarak, his father, and the rest of the Shabwan family in blood, sacrifices, and capabilities. They did not hesitate to defend Ma’rib and Yemen, and they are still making sacrifices tirelessly
We, in the Supreme Council of Popular Resistance, offer our condolences to the struggling Sheikh Ali bin Hassan bin Gharib, the father of the deceased, his brothers, sons, his tribe, and his lovers, and we share their grief over this painful affliction. We pray to the Almighty, the Almighty, that the dear deceased may be showered with his vast mercy and forgiveness, and that he may reside in the highest paradise and may he succeed us. May his children and family be well
